What is Lawply?

Lawply is a free web application that helps law students organise and track their internship applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Lawply provides tools for managing internship applications, generating cover letter templates, tracking application status, and discovering law firms. The service is provided as-is and free of charge.

No guarantees

While we work to keep Lawply reliable and useful, we cannot guarantee:

• That the service will be available at all times without interruption
• That firm data (contact details, career URLs, practice areas) is always accurate or up to date
• That using Lawply will result in internship offers — your applications are your own responsibility
• That cover letter templates are suitable for every situation — always review and personalise before sending

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content of your applications, cover letters, and any emails you send using Lawply
• You must provide accurate information in your profile
• You must not use Lawply to send spam, bulk unsolicited emails, or harass anyone
• You must not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service
• You must not scrape, copy, or redistribute the firm database

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lawply. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you create on Lawply — your profile data, cover letters, notes, and application records. We do not claim any rights over your content.

Changes to the service

We may modify, update, or discontinue Lawply at any time. If we make significant changes to these terms, we will notify users through the app or by email.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the platform.

Accuracy of firm data

The firm directory, internship details, application contacts, deadlines, and other information displayed on Lawply are compiled from publicly available sources, firm websites, and intern reports. This data may not reflect the most current policies of any firm. All details — including application contacts, deadlines, internship duration, and application windows — should be independently verified with the firm before being relied upon. Lawply does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any firm-related information.

Limitation of liability

Lawply is provided as a free tool with no warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including missed deadlines, rejected applications, or inaccurate firm data.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
